2026 Carpenter Township Regular Board Meeting Dates

In the month of March, the township board meeting will take place on the second Wednesday of the month. In all other months of the year township meetings will take place on the second Tuesday of each month. Meeting dates for the year 2026 are as follows:

Tuesday 13 January 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 10 February 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday 11 March 2026 at 7:00 p.m.(Annual Meeting March 10)

Tuesday 14 April 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 12 May 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 9 June 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 14 July 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 11 August 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 8 September 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday 8 December 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Notice of Election
Notice is hereby given of the general election on November 3, 2026, for federal, state and local offices. Voting for all offices and other issues will be conducted by mail ballot. No local polling place will exist. The following township positions will be elected:
Supervisor B – 4-year term
Supervisor C – 4-year term
Notice of filing period
The filing period for the offices listed above shall begin on Tuesday July 14, 2026, and end on July 28, 2026, at 5:00 pm. A qualified resident of the Town of Carpenter with proof of residency and interested in becoming a supervisor should contact Cheryl Steege, the Town Clerk, to file for office. She can be reached by email carpentertownclerk@outlook.com or by phone at 218-743-2649. The Clerk will keep open hours at the Carpenter Town Hall for filing on July 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm through 5:00 pm.
